About this event:
EVENT COUNTDOWN CLOCK
To register for this event you must:
- have a bicycle without training wheels
- have a bicycle helmet
- running shoes in good condition
- be able to swim 25yds without stopping
(12 female athletes on June 20)
(12 male athletes on June 21)
Thanks to the support of a local San Antonio community member (who wishes to remain anonymous) we are offering this free opportunity to learn more about the sport of triathlon.
Reserved for ages 11-14 (age as of Dec 31, 2015) 24 lucky individuals will get to spend a day working with top coaches and athletes while biking, swimming, running, and generally having fun!
to the first 12 Females and 12 Males to register.
If the event becomes full, a waiting list will be created for those interested.
Please note that all registrations are subject to review and approval by the head coach. If there is a question, parents will be contacted prior to the event.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Each day athletes will explore swim, bike, run skills and drills, age-appropriate strength training and body awareness, nutritional discussion, transition work, and much more in a safe, structured, supervised environment.
Saturday is reserved for females only
Sunday is reserved for males only
All participants will receive an email outlining final details the week of June 8, 2015.
WHAT TO BRING
Listed below are the minimum items we require:
- Bicycle without training wheels
- Bicycle Helmet
- Running Shoes
- Swim Suit
- Swim goggles
- Water bottles (a water fountain is available for refills)
- Snacks – some snacks will be provided but if you have a favorite… bring that to enjoy!
- Bug Spray
- 7:30-8:00 Check in
- 8:00-8:30- Introductions
- 8:30 – 9:30a: Run skills and test (track)
- 9:30 – 11:00a: Bike Skills (open field)
- 12:00- 1:00p: Swim (pool)
- 1:00-1:45p: Camp closing remarks

IconOne has hosted USA Triathlon National Youth and Junior Overnight Camps and Clinics for 9 years with a track record for creating a safe, educational environment with top quality knowledgeable staff led by Shelly O’Brien, one of only 18 USA Triathlon Elite Level 3 coaches.

BEYOND THE SUMMER CAMP
